Los mensajes que intent\u00f3 posicionar la campa\u00f1a fueron los de transparencia, sobriedad, capacidad y experiencia. Su slogan era \u201cM\u00edrame a la Cara\u201d, tratando de generar con ello confianza y cercan\u00eda, sin embargo, se equivocaron, el candidato se ve\u00eda cansado, viejo y deteriorado. A lo \u00faltimo que debieron apelar sus estrategas fue a \u00e9l mismo pues trasmit\u00eda todo menos cambio o vigor. A la campa\u00f1a le hizo falta rumbo. Sus cr\u00edticas a los millonarios que quer\u00edan comprar la presidencia sonaban a palabras vac\u00edas ante la embestida de propuestas de Martinelli. El tema no era si los candidatos eran ricos o pobres sino qui\u00e9n estaba hablando de salud, vivienda, educaci\u00f3n, seguridad y empleo. La campa\u00f1a de Endara no encontr\u00f3 el mensaje apropiado, no atin\u00f3 al vocero apropiado y no supo capitalizar las fortalezas del candidato y erradamente posicionaron sus debilidades.
